Carolina Realty

Occasionally, we all like to sit around and hear our grandparents tell the stories of where they’ve been, where they are, and where they are heading.  I personally feel our story of Carolina Realty is more of this fabric than of an impersonal synopsis of a “business” story.  We hope you “feel” our story rather than just “read” of what our company is really about.  Just as the growth of a family of Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Children, etc. takes years to evolve, so has been the case with our Carolina Realty Family.  However, we have always felt that if you introduce the same actions and principals that bind the relationships of personal family to a business family, then the results can be virtually identical….and so it has.

For over 25 years, we have structured a company with the same “corny” but time honored principals of honesty & fairness but coupled with responsibility and accountability.  We weathered the economic woes of the early ‘80’s in a predominately sleepy farming county to today as one of the fastest growing areas of the nation.  We feel so blessed to have been a part of this metamorphous.  In our early years as a company, we were primarily real estate brokerage with only 2 agents.  We then built upon the brokerage, and became active in foreclosed properties and a new construction division.  During this time, we had several more agents to become a part of our business family.  Also during this same period, we adjusted our business model to allow all our members to have equal voice in our business decisions and introduced a liberal profit sharing plan. This “team” concept still exists with our company and we have expanded our sharing of our “team” successes.  Two of our favorite events of the year today include our Christmas profit sharing and an annual company trip to “somewhere special” together. As a company we have also fine tuned a new community development division that has produced or is in process of producing nearly 2000 residential lots.  Other noteworthy accomplishments of our “business family” include two Board of Realtor President tenures, three “Realtor” of the year awards, “six Board of Directorships, several city commissioner seats, and numerous recognition awards from trade and civic organizations.  Today, we have a company family that has grown both in number and experience that can handle virtually every real estate need you may have.  Please visit our “meet our agents” site on our home page, you will not be disappointed.
